Maryland Introduces Butterfly Symbol on IDs to Recognize Hidden Disabilities

Maryland is marking a milestone in inclusivity by offering a voluntary butterfly symbol on driver’s licenses and IDs, enabling residents to discreetly indicate hidden disabilities such as autism, PTSD, or hearing loss.
